Hello!

I enjoy creating images of people and the night sky. I endevour to capture something of the beauty of life through pictures involving people, and a feeling for the mystery of the universe through astrophotography. Character, emotion, gesture, form,  are aspects of the beauty of life in people. Wonders of the universe include the glorious Milky Way spanning overhead, nebulas, galaxies, star clusters, moon and planets. I am inspired by great art, past and contemporary, particularly drawing, painting, and fine art photography.

I am a member of the Canberra Photographic Society (cpsaus.org), the Canberra Astronomical Society (https://casastronomy.org.au), the Artists Society of Canberra (http://www.asoc.net.au), and an Enthusiast Member of the Australian Institute for Professional Photography (AIPP). I am a founding member of Studio7.

While my interest is mainly in artistic collaborations, I am happy to receive a limited number of portrait commissions. I also happy to assist non-profit community organisations. If you are interested in a fine art project, or a portrait session, please contact me.

I work at ANU, and live south of Canberra with my wife and two sons.
